April 2, 2021: The Shirt Committee is ready to welcome students back for the unveiling of The Shirt 33. On Friday, April 23rd, we will be hosting a live unveiling on South Quad and Library Lawn. Both settings will have food trucks, lawn games, and its own large screen. Both screens will feature messages from Notre Dame celebrities, pre-recorded performances from groups across campus, and exclusive content from The Shirt Committee. The festivities begin at 5:00 pm EST, leading up to the reveal of the new 2021 The Shirt design at 6:00 pm EST.

Due to university policies, outside guests cannot join us in person for the unveiling this year. Irish fans worldwide can watch the unveiling live on The Shirt Project's YouTube channel. We will be releasing photos of new design as well as a detailed description of the design written by The Committee members on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter moments after the 6:00 pm EST reveal. We hope to have a full unveiling next year and that all members of Fighting Irish nation will be able to wear this year’s design together this fall.

Since 1990, The Shirt has united the Notre Dame student section as well as fans and alumni across the world on game days. During its 32 years of operations, over 3 million shirts have been sold, raising millions to benefit Notre Dame undergraduate and graduate students. With a mission of enhancing student life at Notre Dame, The Shirt is more than just an article of clothing—it’s a wearable expression of support for Notre Dame students.
